Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Hair Mask Review!

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to be giving a little review on the Herbal essences beautiful ends, split end protection mask. Wow. That was a mouthful.

I absolutely adore the packaging for this product. I love how it's simple, yet nice. The red container makes it eye catching so you don't forget about using it. You get 200ml of product in each container, which lasts you quite a while. The directions for use advises you to use this hair mask once a week to give your hair some "VIP treatment", how cute does that sound?! I normally use this hair mask on a Friday night, because after a busy week at school with different weather conditions, I feel like my hair needs some nourishing! The texture is like a really thick, creamy conditioner and it's pink so that's nice. It doesn't come out pink on the hair, it just turns transparent. It also smells amazing and not at all chemically!

On to the real question - does it work? I do notice a difference in my hair the day after I use it, the split ends in my hair seem less visible. But I wouldn't say that it kept my hair from becoming damaged. It leaves my hair super soft as well as shiny which I find tricky to achieve! Even though it doesn't prevent damage, I love this product for hiding my split ends and making it smell and feel great. So yes I will be repurchasing this hair mask and trying others in the range! :)

Have you tried any hair masks? Which work best for you?

Miss Sporty Liquid Concealer Review

This was the first concealer I've ever purchased. I've never had really dark circles under my eyes so I didn't feel the need to have a concealer because my foundation would cover it.

But then I ventured out and got one because I wanted to see how good they are. I went to superdrug and tried to find the cheapest concealer as I didn't really need it, it was just so I could give it ago. So I saw this Miss Sporty one for £1.79 but when I got to the till it was £2.99, false labeling much?! I got it in the shade "light" as this suited my skin best.

Anyway, on to the actual product. Does it do what a concealer should? Yes I suppose it does, it covered under my eyes and any blemishes I had well. The one thing I didn't really like was how it made my eye area look. It seemed to look cakey and it sat in any fine lines under my eyes which is not attractive.

Bottom line is, it covers any imperfections well but while doing so it looks very cakey and not attractive. So I will not be buying this product again :(

If you have any concealers that you recommend let me know because I know need a new, good one!

Lots of love, Lucy x

GOSH velvet touch foundation primer - review

When you see a sample of a product in store, you immediately go and pick a few up. This is what happened a few weeks back in Superdrug, I picked up 5 samples of the GOSH velvet touch foundation primer.
I needed a new primer and was so pleased when I saw a sample of this, perfect timing 'eh? But when it came to using it, I wasn't so pleased. As you can see from the picture above, I only used 1/5 samples. You get 2ml of product per sample and this managed to cover my face with some still left over.
I had high expectations because the full size is £12.99! However I was very disappointed with this product and I am glad I didn't have to spend money on it!

All of the information about the product is correct. It did "fill in fine lines and deep pores", but felt slimy and greasy also, this put me off before I even found out if it was a good primer or not. I applied the primer with my fingers and put it on the whole of my face, I did notice that it would even fill in the ridges in my fingers, weird!

Anyway, onto the main question. Did it make my foundation stay on any longer? Well, no. No it didn't. Normally I can go a whole day wearing my foundation and it only comes off in some places (cheeks and nose), but when I used this it seemed to have made my foundation slide off my face and not stay put! So I will definitely not be using this primer again.

I hope you found this review helpful if you were looking into buying this product, sorry it was so negative but it was my opinion. But what I would like to know is what's your favourite primer? I'd love to give it a try! :-)

lots of love, Lucy x
