Valentine's day gift guide: For her

Soon enough the day's going to approach when the singletons feel lonely and the loved up ones become even more loved up. Yes, it's nearly Valentine's Day. The 14th of February is fast approaching and sometimes it's difficult to find that perfect gift for that special someone. Today i'm going to share with you a few gift ideas for that one girl in your life.

Fragrance Gift Sets
There are so many different gift sets on the market nowadays. They're the perfect gift for someone. I'd absolutely love to open one of these from a loved one. You can find some really lovely sets cheaper on websites such as www.fragrancedirect.co.uk

Jewellery
Simple yet effective. There are so many different pieces of jewellery available, nearly all of it is perfect for an occasion such as Valentine's Day. Pieces that stand out from the rest would be anything related to "love". Things such as infinity rings or necklaces, or if they have a Pandora bracelet then you can buy them a charm to do with love at the Pandora Website.

Make up
By this, I don't just mean any old random piece of make up. If they are the sort of girl that is obsessed with make up, keep a mental note of the things they are lusting over but just can't bring their selves to buy it. It would mean so much to them that you've remembered little things like this.
(usually this will be an expensive product, don't freak out that people spend that much money on one thing!)

Candles
If they love to relax then a candle is a perfect thing to add to any situation. There are so many candles on the market but ones I will recommend would be Yankee Candles as they look so lovely on the side of any girls vanity.

Simple, thoughtful things
The average things that people think don't mean anything, which clearly do! Such as: a box of chocolates, breakfast in bed, a nice bottle of bubbly and cooking a romantic dinner for the two of you. You don't have to spend a load of money to have a good day with the one you love.

These are just a few things which I think are appropriate for Valentine's Day. What are you getting your loved one this year?

Where did I go?

You may or may not have noticed but I haven't been about on the blogosphere for 8 whole days (literally feels like forever). I apologize for not being a very good blogger! The past few days have been hectic, I've had assessment after assessment in lessons, I've had a few fall outs with some friends (but don't worry your little head, everything's sorted!)). I just haven't been in the right mood to blog, my heads been all over the place.

I feel like if I haven't been blogging for a while then I need to come back with an amazing post that's going to woo all of you, but I can't do that. I'm going to get back into blogging and I will be posting regular posts every weekend like i usually do. I've just had a bit of trouble balancing real life with the blogging life, schools really got in the way. I've not had the time to sit down and write a full post about a certain topic, the amount of homework and revision I'm doing at the minute is outstanding. Also in some cases I've just simply run out of ideas for posts and I just haven't felt confident in my blog.

This is where you come into this, I'd love suggestions for blog posts in the comments or tell me anything that you think will really give me a boost for blogging again. I love blogging so much, it's something I can do to escape from the real world of dreaded school work and painful exams.

Thank you so much for being a supporter of my blog, I love every single one of you who comments on or follows my blog!

2014 Blogger Challenge | Skincare

Hello everyone, today I have the second post of the 2014 blogger challenge. The post today is all about skincare. I haven't really got a skincare routine as I still haven't got a hold of products that I absolutely love and treat my skin well, but i'm going to share with you the products that i'm using on my skin at the minute.

The first product I use is the L'oreal Micellar Solution. I'm not sure about this product yet. It's fantastic at removing my make up and unclogging my pores. It makes my skin feel smooth and clean, without leaving it feeling tight and stripped. The one thing that's making me unsure about this is the amount of spots and blemishes i've been getting on my skin since i have been using it. I''m not blaming this product, but there's nothing else new that i've been using on my skin so who knows!

The second product I use is the Simple Oil Balancing Facial scrub which I cannot say enough good things about. However you can read my review on this product here.

Another product I use everyday on my face is the Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser. This is the only moisturiser i've ever used and i've never had any problems with it. It keeps my skin nicely hydrated and smooth.

On days when I feel like my skin needs a bit of extra care and attention, I use this face mask from Simple. I've only used this product twice so I can't give it a full review but it does leave my skin nice and soft!

Do you have any skincare faves?

Thank you!

Right.. Guys, I don't have a clue how to start this post. I'm lost for words and have been since last night when I received one of the most exciting e-mails of my life. I received an e-mail from bloglovin' letting me know that I had reached 100 followers!

Saying that my little blog has 100 followers doesn't sound right, it's such a shock! I started my blog thinking that I would never reach 100 followers, let alone reaching it in about 6 months! I'm literally so ecstatic about it - I haven't stopped smiling. I'm so glad I've reached this milestone, it's lovely to know that people enjoy my blog and take their time to follow it and come back to read posts!
I'm gutted that I didn't have time to arrange a giveaway for my lovely followers, maybe I will when I reach 150 followers! Then I'd be able to give back to my followers :)

I want to thank every single one of you for following my blog on bloglovin', I want to give everyone a massive hug to say thank you! You will never realise how much this means to me, all you had to do was click "follow" and it's made me the happiest girl ever ever ever! I haven't been putting up posts on a schedule for the past few weeks due to my school work getting in the way, so I'm sorry but I will get my butt back into gear haha!

THANK YOU AGAIN! *virtual hug*

Simple Oil Balancing Facial Scrub Review

Finding suitable skincare items for me is so difficult. My skins like a rollercoaster, somedays it's oily and some days its dry. But as soon as I find a product that helps my skin out, I stick to it and never abandon it. This is how I feel with this product that I am going to review for you today. I received the simple oil balancing facial scrub for Christmas and have used it everyday since.

I use it every morning once I have used my L'oreal Micellar Solution to remove all of my make-up. All I do is apply a pea sized amount to the areas I wish to use it. As the bottle states "clears 64% of blackheads in 7 days", I use it in the places I get the most amount of blackheads and oilyness. This means I use it on my chin, nose and forehead. I spend about 30-50 seconds rubbing it in circular motions on these areas.

I love the consistency of this product, it has very fine micro beads which exfoliate and remove any nasty bits from my skin easily. It is a white/ cream colour, but once it has been rubbed into the skin it turns see-through. It is very easy to remove, it suggests to splash water onto your face but I prefer to wipe it off with a face cloth as it gets all of the micro beads off nicely.

I can always tell when I use this product. It leaves the areas I've used it in so smooth and fresh feeling. I have noticed a difference in the amount of blackheads in my skin and also the way it looks. My skin looks a lot more healthier. When I miss a day of using this I always know - my skin just isn't as smooth! I also love that it's only around £4 and it's available pretty much everywhere! It's a real bargain! I adore this product and is now something which I will use everyday. It states that the product is gentle enough for sensitive skin but I do find it fairly harsh on my skin, but that's the type of thing I like. So I'm not sure if I would recommend this to people with sensitive but I absolutely love this product. It's a 10/10 from me!

Is there any skincare products that you rave about?

New Years Resolutions

I'm never really the one who makes resolutions for a new year, I'm not sure why it just never interested me. But this year I'm going to change that and make some resolutions, so today I'm going to share them with you.

1. Eat healthier - By this, I don't just mean eat less chocolate and crisps, I mean genuinely eat healthier. Try to consume more pieces of fruit and vegetables a day. I'm the type of person that doesn't ever put on weight which means I can eat whatever I like, so I'm going to change this and look after my insides a bit better.
2. Exercise more - I literally NEVER exercise, P.E at school is the most exercise I do. I'm not going to say 'go for a run each morning', instead do little exercises, like star jumps.
3. Look after my skin - Being in the blogging community made me realise how much I don't look after my skin. You have people that put 10+ products on their face day and night, then there's me that cleanses and moisturises haha! I definitely need to branch out and try out some different skin care products.
4. Keep organised - This is where my 2014 diary comes in. I've never properly had a diary before, I always rely on my memory to keep me organised. So now I've got a diary I will be able to write down when things will happen. This will also benefit my blog as I will be able to plan posts in advance which I am excited about!
5. Go out more - All I ever did in 2013 was sit inside, scrolling through blogs and hibernating. Which don't get me wrong, was fun as it got me more involved in blogging. But then I missed out on many different opportunities to be with friends so this is something that I need to start doing. I need to be able to balance my blogging time and my socialising time!

So, that's all my resolutions for 2014. Comment below your resolutions as I would love to know!

2014 Blogger Challenge | Inspiration

Hello everyone, today is exciting because it is my first post of the 2014 blogger challenge! It is also my first post for 2014! I cannot believe how fast 2013 flew by, it was such a great year. There was some real highlights and I'd just like to wish you all a very happy 2014! But anyway, onto the post, you can read more about the 2014 blogger challenge here. The first post is all about inspirational quotes and things which will motivate you in the new year.
I found several quotes from our good old pal tumblr and they are what I am going to share with you all today.

I love this quote because it means that no matter what you do, if you try you will succeed one way or another.

This quote shows that if you're dedicated to something then you will get what you wish for.

This quote gets me all giddy - just to think that if you smile and someone sees that, then that could change their mood all together! I'm always one for helping people.

This quote has got to be my favourite! It makes me keep my head up and realise that if I want things to go my way in life then I've got to think positive!

Well that's it, my first post for the 2014 blogger challenge. I really enjoyed writing this post, is there any quotes that give you inspiration for 2014?
